Got nothin’ to do this weekend? Not sure what the big games are? Keep reading.

Following the Phillies at 5:07 on Saturday, flip over to CBS at 8pm for #3 Alabama at #12 Florida. Big time SEC battle and I like Florida’s chances at the upset.

After Wednesday night, how can I not be glued in to see how these first round MLB playoff games get started? Sebathia V. Verlander has to be the most anticipated pitching matchup.

Someone at the Eagles’ front office must be a Voodoo Brown regular. Hours after I clamored to bring Jamar Chaney back to the middle, BAM! This past week, I called to sit down Casey Matthews and insert Brian Rolle at weak side linebacker and let Juselio Hanson play more nickelback. The next day, POOF! I’ll be looking to see if that makes any difference.

Like last week, I wanted to see just how good Buffalo is this season against New England. Same thing this week with Oakland. Let’s see how they stand up against a pissed off Tom Brady.

I gave up on the show “Fringe” half way through last season. It just got too tough to follow. I’ll give the season opener a shot. Hopefully, they’ll have a recap so I can get caught up.

It premieres on Thursday night but the NFL Network will be airing replays of the latest edition of “A Football Life,” a great new documentary series. This week’s epispode chronicles the life and careers of the Eagles’ Reggie White and Jerome Brown.

How ‘bout a few baseball predictions? In the AL, I like the Rays and Tigers, both in 5 games. In the NL, Milwaukee in 4 and the Phillies in 3.

I’ll have a crowd with me at the Tavern On Broad in Philadelphia for game 1 of the Phillies-St. Louis series. If you see a blue eyed, handsome fellow handing out Voodoo Brown fliers, hand me a Makers Mark.

Last but certainly, not least: DEXTER, SEASON SIX…My blood is boiling (pun intended) as I eagerly await the return of the most interesting character on television. Tonight’s the night…
