Do I have to remind you that game 5 of the NLDS is tonight at 8:30? Doc Halladay versus Chris Carpenter. Needless to say, I’ll be pacing for 9 innings.

If you’re a college football fan, this is the weekend of the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas…Noon, Saturday on ABC.

The ALCS kicks off in Texas Saturday night. I like the Tigers in 7 games.

Set the DVR for Boardwalk Empire and Dexter on Sunday night…assuming the Phillies open up the NLCS at home.

The big NFL games this weekend: New England hosts the NY Jets at 4:15 and the Sunday night game has Green Bay travelling to Atlanta for a rematch of the divisional playoff round from last year.

If you’re a Sci-Fi geek, AMC is showing all three “Alien” movies on Saturday afternoon starting at 2:30.

Looks like it’s an Indian Summer weekend so disregard all of the above and get the hell outside!
