Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons (-4.5)
Over/Under: 61
Temperature: Indoor
Wind: Indoor
I’ve been going back & forth all week with the outcome of this game, and as much as I want to see the Packers advance to the Super Bowl, I really think they’re going to run out of gas in Atlanta. They just have too many injuries on both sides of the ball. I don’t see how the Packers D can contain the Falcons offense even a little bit. I can see the Falcons D forcing a couple stops on Green Bay. As cliche as it may sound, the only way Green Bay can escape with a win is if they win the turnover battle. If they can’t, then they’ll come up short.
Atlanta 38 – Green Bay 34

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots (-6)
Over/Under: 51
Temperature: 38°
Wind: 9-14mph
This is another great matchup of powerful offenses against average defenses, led by Hall of Fame QBs. I think this one will feature more defense than the Packers/Falcons game, however, and more of a grind-it-out game flow. The run-heavy approach definitely favors the Steelers, so expect a really tight game down to the wire. If Pittsburgh wins, I won’t be surprised. But I can’t see Brady losing a game of this magnitude at home — he’s only lost 1 home game to an AFC opponent since 2007*. ONE, and it was a meaningless game against the Bills in 2014 when they had home field wrapped up. So I am going with the Patriots pulling out a tight one.
New England 31 – Pittsburgh 27
