Julio, the #1 WR on my board this week, should have a monster day in a shootout with Detroit. (Photo Credit: RONALD MARTINEZ/GETTY IMAGES)

If you own Carlos Hyde, you have a vested interest in tonight’s game. He should put up Top 5 numbers in a favorable matchup. Same goes for Todd Gurley. Other than Hyde & Gurley, there is not a whole lot to get excited about from a fantasy perspective. I’m not a fan of Thursday games to begin with, and this one has the makings of a total snoozer. That said… let’s go Carlos Hyde!

If you have any lineup questions, you can always hit me @VoodooBrown any time before kickoff.

And now for this Week’s player rankings…
It’s common sense, but if you have to decide between two players on this list, take the one that is ranked higher. If your player does not appear on this list, then he’s probably not very startable in most 10-12 team leagues. (Note, these rankings are based on PPR leagues)

Voodoo Brown
Voodoo Brown started playing fantasy football way back in 1994 — when you had to manually add up scores with the Monday edition of USA Today (yes, that’s how it was done). Since that time, he has amassed 11 titles and 6 runner-ups, with most of his success coming after 2003 (avg. participation of 2-3 leagues per year). These accomplishments are evidence that Voodoo steadily adjusts to the ebbs & flows of the ever-changing fantasy landscape. It’s a different game now than it was in 1994 — hell, even 2004. Rarely finishing as a doormat, Voodoo’s teams are always in the mix. If you want any roster or lineup feedback, you can message him at vb@voodoobrown.com, or hit him up on Facebook or Twitter (@VoodooBrown)
