NFL Week One is in the books, and like any kickoff weekend, there were a few major surprises: Bucs over Saints, Jets over Lions, and Dolphins over Titans (to a lesser degree). Now we’ll just have to see if those surprises make more sense as the season goes on. How did the Voodoo team fare? I’d give us all a “C”… Darren & Voodoo are sitting in first place with a very pedestrian 10-5 mark. Mike Angelina is right behind them at 9-6, while defending Champ Mike Procopio rounded out the weekend with a shaky 8-7 mark. We’ll get dialed in, folks… not to worry.

HERE ARE THE STANDINGS AFTER WEEK 1:
Voodoo Brown: 10-5
Darren DeGaetano: 10-5
Mike Angelina: 9-6
Mike Procopio: 8-7

Follow a contributor and ride them all season… Good luck in Week 2!

Note: Mike Procopio & Voodoo are picking Green Bay over Minnesota contingent upon Aaron Rodgers playing. If Rodgers sits, we will be changing our picks to Minnesota.

Voodoo Brown
Voodoo Brown started playing fantasy football way back in 1994 — when you had to manually add up scores with the Monday edition of USA Today (yes, that’s how it was done). Since that time, he has amassed 16 championships and 7 runner-ups, with most of his success coming after 2003 (avg. participation of 2-3 leagues per year). These accomplishments are evidence that Voodoo steadily adjusts to the ebbs & flows of the ever-changing fantasy landscape. It’s a different game now than it was in 1994 — hell, even 2004. Rarely finishing as a doormat, Voodoo’s teams are always in the mix.
